NACB, SACPO Drop Charges Against MP Dovhyi

The National Anticorruption Bureau (NACB) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecution (SACPO) on December 26 closed a criminal proceeding against Member of Verkhovna Rada Oles Dovhyi (the Will of People parliamentary faction).

The Ukrainian News Agency learnt this from a well-informed source.

According to the source, the case was closed in the absence of solid evidence to support the charges brought against the MP.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Prosecutor General's Office did not see a crime in the actions of Rada Member Oles Dovhyi.

However, Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko sent the case to the SACPO for additional consideration.
