New Supreme Court Elects Danyshevska As Its Head

The new Supreme Court has elected Valentyna Danyshevska as its chairperson.

Her candidacy was backed by 67 out of 111 judges at the plenum on Thursday, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Danyshevska is elected for the period of for years.

She is also a judge of the Cassation Economic Court of the Supreme Court

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the new Supreme Court intends to start its work on December 15.
