Military Headquarters: ATO Forces Bolster Tactical Advantage In Luhansk Direction

The Headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated that military forces of the Antiterrorist Operation (ATO) have strengthened a tactical advantage in Luhansk direction (Eastern Ukraine).

Press service of the Military Headquarters has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

At the same time, the headquarters stressed that the Ukrainian ATO military strictly comply with the Minsk Agreements and the disengagement areas outlined in the agreements.

Earlier military volunteer Yurii Mysiahin on his Facebook wrote that on November 21-22 ATO forces deployed an operation in Luhansk direction in the course of which they retook several strategic high grounds and drove militant forces from several villages.As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 21, President Petro Poroshenko held an extraordinary meeting of the National Security and Defense Council due to the escalation of the situation in the militant-held Donbas.
