Court Obliges NACB To Investigate Violations Of Pecherskyi District Court's Judge Batrin And PGO Officials Within Case Against Ex-Minister Lavrynovych

The Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv has obliged the National Anticorruption Bureau (NACB) to open criminal cases upon facts of abuse of office and interference with the automated case distribution system by judge of the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv Olesia Batrin and violations by officials of the Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) during investigating the case against former minister of justice Oleksandr Lavrynovych suspected of seizure of power through the reinstatement of the 1996th Constitution in 2010.

Ukrainian News agency learnt this from Lavrynovych himself.

He said the court took the decision on November 20.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in September, Batrin passed the ruling to arrest Lavrynovych for two months.
