Parubiy Signs Law Declaring December 25 Day Off

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy has signed the law that declares December 25 a day off and cancels May 2 as a holiday.

Ukrainian News agency learnt this from the data on the official website of the Ukrainian Parliament.

Respective document has yet to be signed by President Petro Poroshenko.

The President has 15 days to either sign it or veto it.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 16, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has cancelled a holiday on May 2 and declared December 25 a day off.
