1 Policeman Killed, 2 Injured After Vehicle Hit Mine In Donetsk Region

One policeman was killed and two were injured when their vehicle hit a mine in Donetsk region.

First Deputy National Police Chief Viacheslav Abroskin announced this on Facebook, the Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"We have just received tragic information. A police car that was traveling on the Talakovka-Hnutove road hit an anti-tank mine laid by militants near the village of Hnutove in Donetsk region," he wrote.

According to him, a police major died of the wounds he sustained in the incident.

Two police officers were injured and taken to hospital.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, a truck carrying militants hit a mine on November 13.
