SBU Suspends Antiterrorist Exercise In Vinnytsia Region Due To Explosions At Ammunition Depot Outside Kalynivka

The Security Service of Ukraine has suspended antiterrorist exercise in Vinnytsia region because of explosions at the ammunition depot of the Defense Ministry outside Kalynivka.

The press service of the SBU announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The antiterrorist exercise in Vinnytsia region was planned late in 2016 and included in the plan for 2017.

Similar exercises were held in Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, and Donetsk regions in September 2017.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 26, the SBU, the Ministry of Interior Affairs, and the armed forces started antiterrorist exercise in Vinnytsia region.

The fire at the ammunition depot began on September 26 at about 10 p.m.
