SACPO Wants Court To Increase Bail For MP Poliakov To UAH 5 Million
The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SACPO) wants the Solomiyanskyi District Court of Kyiv to increase the bail for Verkhovna Rada member Maksym Poliakov from the faction of the People's Front Party from UAH 304,000 to UAH 5 million.
Poliakov's lawyer Petro Boiko announced this to Ukrainian News Agency.
"They (SACPO) ask the court to collect to the budget UAH 304,000 of the bail of Maksym Poliakov and increase the bail to UAH 5 million," he said.
The next court sitting in the case on the bail of MP Poliakov will be on September 6.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Solomiyanskyi District Court of Kyiv has extended a restrictive measure for MP Poliakov in a form of bail worth UAH 304,000 for two more months until October 17.
MP Poliakov had refused to put on an electronic tracking bracelet three times.
