Trump Wonders Why Attorney General Not Investigating Ukraine's Possible Interference In U.S. Presidential Campaign

U.S. President Donald Trump wonders why Attorney General Jeff Sessions has not started investigation into possible Ukraine's interference in the presidential campaign in the United States in 2016.

President Trump wrote this on Twitter, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Ukrainian efforts to sabotage Trump campaign - 'quietly working to boost Clinton.' So where is the investigation A.G.," he wrote.

President Trump also scolds Attorney General Jeff Sessions for "a VERY weak position on Hillary Clinton crimes."

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Presidential Administration of Ukraine deputy head Kostiantyn Yeliseyev denies Ukraine's interference in any way in the presidential elections in the United States in 2016.

On July 12, the Voice of America reported that the nominee to lead the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Christopher Wray, promised during hearing in the U.S. Senate to assess statements about Ukraine's interference in the presidential election campaign in the United States in 2016.

On July 10, Principal Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said at a press briefing in Washington that the Democratic Party coordinated opposition research with Ukraine's Embassy during the presidential election campaign in the United States in 2016.
