Ambassador Of United Kingdom Gough Considers It Possible For Ukraine To Initiate Liberalization Of Visa Regime After Brexit

Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Ukraine Judith Gough says the Ukrainian authorities can ask for a relaxed visa regime with the United Kingdom after the Brexit.

She said this at a press conference on Monday, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

She says the United Kingdom has relaxed visa regime with some countries, and the government of Ukraine can lobby the UK government to obtain relaxed visa regime.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in April 2017, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko called on the British Parliament to liberalize visas rules for citizens of Ukraine.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman will lead a Ukrainian delegation at a conference on results of reforms in Ukraine that will take place in London on July 6.
