Strana.ua Editor-in-Chief Huzhva Freed From Remand Prison

Ihor Huzhva, editor-in-chief of Strana.ua internet newspaper, has been released from the remand prison in Kyiv.

He left the remand prison at about a noon, a correspond of Ukrainian News Agency reports from the scene.

He said he was well.

Ihor Huzhva told the press he was going to his job.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on June 26, Svitlana Kriukova, deputy editor-in-chief of the Strana.ua internet newspaper, posted the bail for Ihor Huzhva, editor-in-chief of Strana.ua.

On June 24, the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv ordered a detention of Huzhva with the alternative of a bail of UAH 544,000.
