Court Continues Hearing Yanukovych Case

The Obolonskyi District Court of Kyiv has continued hearing the case against former president Viktor Yanukovych accused of high treason.

Judge Vladyslav Deviatko has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

He noted that preparatory sitting continues.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on March 14, the military prosecutor's office filed Yanukovych indictment to court.

On May 4, the Obolonskyi District Court of Kyiv started consideration the case within a preparatory sitting procedure.
