NBU Channels UAH 5 Billion Into State Budget

The National Bank of Ukraine has channeled the third tranche of its profit worth UAH 5 billion into the state budget of Ukraine.

The NBU has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The central bank notes that only UAH 24.4 billion of the total amount of its profit (UAH 44.4 billion) is yet to be transferred to the state budget this year.

The Regulator reminds that the schedule of the transfers agreed with the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine envisions monthly tranches until the end of 2017.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in May, the international reserves of the central bank reached USD 17.6 billion.
