April Inflation 0.9%
In April 2017, consumer prices rose by 0.9%.
Ukrainian News Agency has learnt this from the State Statistics Service.
Foodstuff and soft drink prices in April rose by 1.2%, prices for clothes and footwear increased by 0.9%, cost of municipal services rose by 0.5%, of services related to health care rose by 0.5% and prices for education remained unchanged.
Inflation in the period of January - April 2017 was 4.9%.
In April 2017, consumer prices rose by 12.2% year over year.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in March 2017, consumer prices rose by 1.8%, in the period of January - March, inflation was 3.9%.
In 2016, the inflation was 12.4%, 43.3% in 2015, 24.9% in 2014, 0.5% in 2013 and deflation of 0.2% in 2012.
The state budget for 2017 envisions inflation growth of 8.1%.
