Ukrainian Consul Confirms Nine Ukrainian Citizens Are Crewmembers Of Heroes Of Arsenal Ship Wrecked In Waters Near Kerch Strait

The consular service department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has confirmed that nine citizens of Ukraine are crewmembers of the Heroes of Arsenal ship wrecked in the waters near the Kerch Strait on Wednesday.

The department wrote this in Twitter, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"The consul reports about nine Ukrainians among crewmembers of the Heroes of Arsenal ship," reads the statement.

Rescue operation continues.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Heroes of Arsenal ship wrecked in the waters near the Kerch Strait on Wednesday. There were nine citizens of Ukraine among crewmembers of the ship.

At 5.34 a.m. on Wednesday, one of crewmembers was found in the sea in lifejacket with signs of hypothermia.
