PGO Accuses Antimonopoly Committee Of Supporting Monopoly Of TEDIS Ukraine

The Prosecutor General's Office has accused the Antimonopoly Committee of maintaining monopoly position of the TEDIS Ukraine (former Megapolis Ukraine) distribution company in the tobacco goods market.

Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Lutsenko noted that all companies affiliated with TEDIS Ukraine are currently being searched.

Besides a search is underway in the Antimonopoly Committee.

He said law enforcers plan to complete the investigation before late March 31.

In turn Minister of Interior Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov noted that about UAH 2-3 billion have been sent to the Russian Federation through dummy companies.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Lutsenko states that a citizen of Russia own TEDIS Ukraine.
