EU Council Prolongs Sanctions Against 150 Individuals And 37 Legal Entities Involved In Violation Of Territorial Integrity Of Ukraine

The Council of the European Union has prolonged sanctions against 150 individuals and 37 legal entities involved in violation of territorial integrity of Ukraine until September 15.

Press-service of the EU Council has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, following the revision of the list of persons and organizations facing the said measures, the Council decided to withdraw two perished people from the list.

On March 14, the list of the persons will be published by the Eur-Lex.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in September 2015, the EU Council prolonged sanctions against 149 individuals and 37 legal entities involved in actions against territorial integrity of Ukraine until March 15, 2016.

In March 2016, the EU Council prolonged the sanctions against 146 individuals and 37 legal entities.

Three individuals were excluded from the list.

In September 2016, the EU Council prolonged the sanctions until March 2017.
