PrivatBank Lifts All Operation Restrictions

PrivatBank has lifted all operation restrictions.

Bank's Chairman of the Board Oleksandr Shlapak said this during a press briefing on Thursday, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Certain restrictions were imposed on the bank's operations for the last three days.

The bank's correspondent accounts will be unblocked, Shlapak said, accrual of interest will resume, SWIFT transactions will normalize, and overdraft loans will be issued.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Ministry of Finance on December 21 acquired ownership of 100% of shares in PrivatBank.
