Ukraine's Representative To UN Yelchenko To Chair UN Security Council From February
Ukraine's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Volodymyr Yelchenko will be chairing the UN Security Council from February 2017.
Ukrainian News Agency learned this from UN’s Twitter.
Ukraine is one of the 10 non-permanent members of the UN Security Council.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Yelchenko took up his duties as Ukraine's Permanent Representative to the UN in January.

From 2010 to 2014, he was Ukraine’s Ambassador to Russia but was withdrawn for consultations over Russia’s annexation of Crimea.
