Sofia Poll: 73.6% Of Respondents Say Authorities Interested In Further Conflict In Donbas
According to a poll conducted by the Sofia social research centre in November, 73.6% of Ukrainians believe the authorities are not interested in stopping the conflict in Donbas.
The poll results were presented at Ukrainian News Agency's press centre.
Of those polled, 17.4% of respondents say the government does its utmost to stop the conflict in Donbas as soon as possible and 9.1% said they were undecided.
The poll was conducted November 1 - November 13, 2016.
The poll was conducted in all regions (in the government-held territories of Donetsk and Luhansk Regions; in Crimea it was not held).
They questioned 2,017 full-aged respondents by personal interview.
The statistical error does not exceed 2.2%.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, a poll, conducted by the social research centre Sofia in November, suggested that 63.5% of the respondents were worried most of all about the prices of consumer goods, 50.3% about the high tariffs for housing and public utility services and 41.6% about the combat action in Donbas.
