Foreign Ministry: No Consensus With Russia On ‘Minsk Accords' Roadmap

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that there is no consensus with Russia on the action plans for the implementation of the agreements reached in Minsk, Belarus on February 12, 2015.

Foreign Affairs Minister Pavlo Klimkin announced this for journalists, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

«We had preliminary consultations on the date, 29 and 30 November was proposed but this is not final. We are consulting our German and French partners. We don't yet have any consensus with Russian on this roadmap because it is against the emphasis on the security issues which is required to create minimum conditions for the advance of political settlement,» he said.

According to Klimkin, Russia is against the key moments that allow determining modality of the future elections that must be free, fair and meet the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) criteria.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Olha Aivazovska, a coordinator of election and parliamentary programmes at the civic network Opora, a representative of Ukraine on the political subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG; Ukraine - OSCE - Russia) for resolving the situation in Donbas, supposes that several action plans for the implementation of the ‘Minsk accords' may be drafted by all sides before the end of November.
