NSDC Calls For Creation Of Ukrainian-Polish Contact And Coordination Group
The National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) has called for creation of a permanent Ukrainian-Polish contact and coordination group.
The press service of the NSDC announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"The Ukrainian side has proposed establishing a permanent joint contact and coordination group with the aim of joining the efforts of defense companies, coordinating the work on existing projects, and creating new ones," the press service said in the statement after a meeting between the National Security and Defense Council’s Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov and the Polish National Security Bureau’s head Pawel Soloch.
According to the statement, Ukraine and Poland have started a lot of promising military-technical projects that should significantly strengthen the defense capabilities of the two countries and open up new joint possibilities for security cooperation.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukraine and Poland intend to reach agreement on cooperation in the area of defense.
