MP Leschenko (Petro Poroshenko Bloc) Deems Price Of Flat He Bought 'Fair' And 'Adequate'

Member of Parliament Serhi Leschenko (Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction) thinks that the price of the flat he bought is fair and adequate.

He was talking to journalists ahead of the Verkhovna Rada meeting, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"The flat was bought at the price presented at the market. In comparison with prices for flats in this district the price is adequate," he wrote.

Leschenko says the money he paid for the flat was earned honestly and the purchase did not violate requirements of anti-bribery laws.

September 6, mass media reported Leschenko to have bought a flat in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv worth nearly USD 300,000.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Leschenko declared UAH 204,000 income for 2015.
