Revenue from military levy rises by quarter to more than UAH 94 billion in first half of year

From January through June 2026, the state budget received UAH 94.2 billion in military levy, which is UAH 19.2 billion, or 25.6%, more than during the same period last year (UAH 75 billion).

This is stated in a report by the Tax Service, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The largest amounts of military levy were paid by taxpayers in:

- Kyiv – UAH 31 billion;

- Dnipropetrovsk Region – UAH 10 billion;

- Lviv Region – UAH 7.6 billion;

- Kharkiv Region – UAH 5.9 billion.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, starting July 1, 2026, the military levy will be paid into new budget accounts opened by the State Treasury Service of Ukraine. The change in account details is related to the transfer of the military levy to a special fund of the State Budget of Ukraine.

New accounts have been opened under all budget revenue classification codes applicable to the payment of the military levy, specifically:

11011000 – military levy on individual income;

11011001 – military levy paid by individuals based on their annual tax returns;

11011600 – military levy for certain categories of taxpayers specified in the Tax Code of Ukraine;

11011700 – military levy for individual entrepreneurs who are single-tax payers;

11011800 – military levy for legal entities that are single-tax payers in Group III.
