Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that reforming the operations of territorial recruitment and social support centers is the responsibility of the Ministry of Defense and the Verkhovna Rada.

Syrskyi wrote about this in a column for the “Militarnyi” portal, which was published on Monday, July 20.

According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Ground Forces and territorial recruitment and social support centers are under his command, and they are ready for changes.

We attend all sessions of the Verkhovna Rada, report all violations to the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI—ed.), and insist on involving the police. But the reform itself is the ministry’s legislative and administrative work,” Syrskyi wrote.

The Commander-in-Chief added that the reform is awaiting mobilization just as the entire country is awaiting it.

As a reminder, in his column on “Militarnyi”, Syrskyi apologized to former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov and called for the issue of the war with the aggressor country, russia, not to be politicized.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 1, Verkhovna Rada Human Rights Commissioner Dmytro Lubinets acknowledged the phenomenon of “busification” and called on the Ministry of Defense to change its approach to mobilization.
