Russia hit Kyiv with ballistic missiles at night: warehouses caught fire in Holosiivskyi district
On the night of July 14, russia attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles, as a result of which two hits were recorded in warehouses in the Holosiivskyi district, where fires broke out.
This was announced by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Tymur Tkachenko, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to Klitschko, russian missiles hit warehouses at two addresses in the Holosiivskyi district, fires broke out on the ground.
The mayor also reported that in the Darnytskyi district, fragments of downed targets fell into an open area, as a result of which cars caught fire.
Information about possible victims and the extent of destruction is being clarified.
This is the fifth ballistic attack on Kyiv since the beginning of July. Before that, russian forces used ballistic missiles to strike the capital on July 2, 6, 7, and 11.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, during russian attacks last month, Ukraine destroyed the vast majority of enemy strike drones and cruise missiles, but the effectiveness of shooting down ballistic targets fell to forty percent.
