US names preliminary cause of death of Senator Lindsey Graham: what examination shows

The US has released the preliminary results of the forensic medical examination into the death of Republican Senator Lindsey Graham. According to the main version, the politician died of aortic dissection, associated with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.

According to forensic medical experts, it is aortic dissection, caused by cardiovascular disease, that is currently considered the most likely cause of the senator's death.

At the same time, experts emphasize that the final conclusion will be made only after the completion of toxicological and microscopic studies.

US President Donald Trump reacted to the death of Lindsey Graham. He stated that he perceived the senator as a close person and is experiencing his loss with difficulty.

According to Trump, they last spoke by phone on Saturday evening after Graham returned from a visit to Ukraine. "He sounded a little tired, but overall he was in normal condition," the US President said.

Currently, the investigation into the circumstances of the death is ongoing. Forensic experts are awaiting the results of additional laboratory tests, after which the final cause of the politician's death will be officially established.

So far, the main version remains aortic dissection against the background of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
