General Staff confirms that two important military factories in russia's Bryansk Oblast were struck
On the night of July 7, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out a series of precision strikes against a number of key targets within the russian federation and in the occupied Crimea. It was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The goal of this large-scale operation was to reduce the military and economic potential of the russian aggressor, specifically by striking enterprises in the defense-industrial complex, oil depots, and key logistics routes.
In the Bryansk Oblast, two strategic enterprises of the enemy’s defense-industrial complex were struck simultaneously. The Ukrainian military struck the joint-stock company “Kremniy EL Group” in Bryansk, which is one of the leading manufacturers of microelectronics in the russian federation. Its microchips and semiconductors are used in russian command-and-control systems, communications, electronic warfare, and other types of weaponry. In addition, four explosions were recorded near the Bryansk Chemical Plant in the city of Seltso, where gunpowder, explosives, and components for rocket fuel are produced.
At the same time, the Defense Forces attacked the oil depot at the “Belgorod” airfield, which supplied fuel to the russian military aviation. A significant blow was also dealt to enemy logistics in the occupied Crimea, where Ukrainian forces damaged two railway bridges near the towns of Rozdolne and Ichki, which the invaders use to transport personnel, equipment, and ammunition.
Besides, the Ukrainian Armed Forces units destroyed enemy supply depots in the Donetsk Region, specifically in the Volnovakha and Yasynuvata areas. Currently, the extent of the damage and the final results of most of the strikes are being assessed, and the General Staff emphasized that systematic efforts to destroy russia’s military capabilities will continue.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Unmanned Systems Forces struck eight tankers belonging to russia’s “shadow fleet” in the Sea of Azov.
