Occupied Sevastopol left without electricity after night attack on energy facilities
Temporarily occupied Sevastopol was left completely without electricity after a night attack on energy infrastructure facilities. The city's appointed mayor, Mikhail Razvozhaev, confirmed the large-scale power outage in his Telegram channel.
"As a result of the enemy's attack on energy infrastructure outside Sevastopol, our city was temporarily left without electricity," Razvozhaev said.
According to him, a special regime has been introduced at the affected facilities, and all social institutions have switched to backup power supply schemes.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, earlier today, July 5, the Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert "Magyar" Brovdi, stated that over the past 48 hours, the Ukrainian military has hit 16 electrical substations in the occupied territories of the Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Regions, as well as in Crimea.
As a reminder, on July 2, it became known that water supply restrictions began in occupied Crimea amid power outages on the peninsula.
