Ukraine has achieved the capability to produce advanced weapons systems in quantities that, in the long term, may exceed those of the russian federation. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this following a meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.

According to the head of state, the expansion of the domestic defense-industrial complex (DIC) encompasses all types of unmanned aerial vehicles, ground-based robotic systems, electronic warfare (EW) systems, military equipment, as well as the missile program.

Special attention was paid during the meeting to the missile program, particularly the development and production of Ukrainian ballistic and anti-ballistic systems.

“Today, we essentially conducted a review of our capabilities and identified steps that will accelerate production, testing, and deployment,” Zelenskyy noted, expressing his gratitude to the experts involved.

To ensure financial support for Ukrainian production, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense have been instructed to intensify their work with international partners to attract additional investments and funds to the domestic defense sector.

The President emphasized that Ukraine will continue to apply “long-range and medium-range sanctions” (airstrikes on russian rear facilities), in order to limit moscow’s ability to finance military operations and ensure that the war has a direct impact on daily life in russia.

A separate item on the Staff's  agenda was the review of the volumes and timelines for the delivery of air defense systems. Zelenskyy emphasized that ensuring air defense is a critical daily necessity, so in the coming days, the issue of providing air defense systems will remain a top priority at all international meetings and diplomatic negotiations.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, F10 drones from the Ukrainian manufacturer F-Drones were the first to receive approval for export to the United States.
