Fire raging in area of oil terminal in St. Petersburg following overnight attack

On the morning of July 4, footage was released from St. Petersburg, russia, showing thick smoke in the area of the oil terminal following explosions in the city. It is reported that the city was under attack by drones.

Eyewitnesses are posting footage from St. Petersburg online showing a fire at an industrial facility following a suspected attack.

The widely circulated photos and videos show thick smoke over the city. According to Exilenova+, the oil terminal in russian dictator vladimir putin’s hometown was targeted. It is reported that there were numerous strikes on the port.

OSINT sources confirm the strike on the St. Petersburg oil terminal. According to videos posted by local residents, several fire hotspots are visible at the terminal. 

It should be noted that there is currently no official confirmation of the strikes on the oil terminal. In particular, russian authorities have not provided any information regarding the explosions or their consequences.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez oil refinery, located in Kstovo in the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast of the aggressor country russia, suspended operations as a result of an attack by Ukrainian drones.

On July 3, it was reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces had struck a railway bridge in the north of the occupied Crimea. The structure is actively used by the invaders for military logistics.
