Emergency power outages implemented across Ukraine. Schedules not in effect

Emergency power outages have been implemented in several regions of Ukraine. Scheduled hourly power outages are not in effect. The Ukrenergo press service reported this on Telegram on Friday, July 3.

Due to high electricity consumption, emergency power outages are in effect in some regions of Ukraine. Hourly power outage schedules are currently suspended.

“The restrictions will be lifted as soon as the situation in the power grid stabilizes,” Ukrenergo stated.

Consumers were advised to follow announcements on the official pages of their regional distribution system operators. 

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, emergency power outages were implemented in Kyiv and the Kyiv Region on the afternoon of July 3.
