Ukrainian military forces strike two more bridges in occupied territories - General Staff
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have struck two more bridges in the occupied territories that were being used for the logistical needs of the aggressor country’s army—russia. It was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia Region, Ukrainian forces struck a road bridge near the village of Azovske. This is the bridge over the Kutsa Berdianka River. It carries a road that is also referred to as the “land corridor” to occupied Crimea.
Meanwhile, on the peninsula, Ukrainian forces struck a railway bridge near the village of Ichki (formerly Sovetske).
The General Staff noted that these bridges are actively used by the occupiers to transport personnel, weapons, ammunition, and logistical supplies.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of June 22, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine used drones to destroy a railway bridge across the North Crimean Canal, located near the village of Rozdolne in the northeastern part of the peninsula.
Later, the Ukrainian military released footage of drone strikes on the railway bridge in Rozdolne.
