Enemy troops launch massive drone attack on Sumy Region: 10 injured - Regional Military Administration head Hryhorov

On Saturday night, russian troops launched a massive drone attack on one of the districts of the Sumy Region, as a result of which 10 citizens were injured.

This was reported by the head of the local Regional Military Administration Oleh Hryhorov.

"At night, russian drones launched a massive strike on the Okhtyrskyi district. In the city and nearby communities, there are hits on private houses, as well as on the territory of gas stations," he wrote.

Hryhorov noted that according to the military, the enemy used a large number of UAVs. Some of the drones flew at low altitudes, which made it difficult to detect and shoot them down.

He reported that a 53-year-old resident of the Kyrykivska community was seriously injured. The woman was hospitalized with burns, she is currently in serious condition. Doctors are doing everything possible. Another 9 people sought medical help. They were provided with the necessary assistance on the spot.

The full extent of the damage is currently being determined, the head of the Regional Military Administration added.
