Russians currently more anxious than they were during Kursk Offensive - Zelenskyy
Currently, the level of anxiety among russians is higher than it was during the Ukrainian Defense Forces’ Kursk offensive. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Zelenskyy specifically noted that Ukraine’s Foreign Intelligence Service has obtained information indicating that the crisis involving fuel, military logistics, and governance in Crimea and other russian regions is deepening on a virtually daily basis.
“The Russian occupation administration quite clearly and unambiguously acknowledges the impossibility of resolving the problems created by our medium-range sanctions against the occupier, as well as by the implementation of long-range sanctions, primarily targeting Russian oil refining. A similar situation is unfolding in other Russian regions,” he said.
In addition, Zelenskyy reported that intelligence had obtained internal russian documents assessing the mood of citizens in the aggressor state.
“Currently, the level of anxiety among Russians is already higher than it was during our Kursk operation—specifically, more than 50%. Already, 66% of Russians consider their financial situation to be difficult. More than 80% of Russians believe a large-scale economic crisis in Russia is inevitable. These are absolutely clear indicators reflecting the failure of Putin’s military policy,” he noted.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Zelenskyy previously stated that following precise Ukrainian strikes, the russians had redeployed additional air defense systems to moscow and the Kerch Bridge from other regions.
