Polish far-right politician calls on authorities to deport all Ukrainians home
Polish far-right politician, former member of the Law and Justice (PiS) party Janusz Kowalski, has called on authorities to immediately deport all Ukrainians home.
He wrote about this on his Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Kowalski has begun to regularly publish surveys about Ukrainians in Poland and their attitude towards President Volodymyr Zelenskyy; he also criticizes Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk for inviting Zelenskyy to the country.
"Ukrainians who support the UPA [Ukrainian Insurgent Army - ed.] ideology are a danger to Poland. Everyone should return to Ukraine as soon as possible!" the politician wrote.
According to Kowalski, all Polish politicians who supported the President of Ukraine regarding the UPA should disappear from politics.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on June 21, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk called it a strategic mistake to get involved in a conflict between Ukrainian and Polish politicians.
On June 19, Polish President Karol Nawrocki canceled the decision to award Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy the Order of the White Eagle, Poland's highest state award. After that, Zelenskyy published a message in which he showed that he had sent the order via Nova Poshta to Poland.
Later, former Ukrainian Presidents Leonid Kuchma, Viktor Yushchenko, and Petro Poroshenko announced their decision to renounce the Order of the White Eagle.
