Russian troops evacuate units from Kinburn Spit due to logistical collapse - AFU
Russian units on Kinburn Spit are being evacuated due to a logistics breakdown.
This was stated in an interview with Channel 24 by the commander of the Odesa operational-tactical group, Denys Nosikov, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
He said that Ukrainian forces are striking at weapons that russian troops are trying to transfer to Kinburn Spit.
Medium-range drones are being used for this.
According to Nosikov, the strikes by the Ukrainian military have made it possible to practically interrupt the logistical support of russian forces on the spit.
"Now we have practically cut off the logistics of the occupiers on the spit. The supply of ammunition, food and fuel has actually stopped. A soldier without food and fresh water will not be able to fight. Therefore, according to intelligence, they are currently being evacuated," Nosikov said.
Earlier, the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert "Magyar" Brovdi, stated that in the coming months, Ukraine plans to completely isolate the occupied Crimea.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on June 21, special forces of the "Alpha" Special Operations Center of the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense and the Special Operations Forces, struck the infrastructure of the Kavkaz seaport in the Krasnodar Krai of the russian federation, hit oil product tanks at the TES-Terminal-1 oil depot in Kerch (Crimea), and disabled four radars from the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system and two Pantsir anti-aircraft missile and gun systems located directly on the Crimean Bridge.
