Russia attacks home of large family in Sumy Region. Child, father, grandmother killed, others injured
In the Shostka District of the Sumy Region, troops from the aggressor country, russia, attacked the home of a large family. As a result, a child, a father, and a grandmother were killed, and three other family members were injured. This is stated in a report from the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the report, on June 22 at approximately 4:50 a.m., russian occupiers attacked the home of a large family in the Znob-Novhorodske community of the Shostka District with a drone.
As a result of the enemy attack, a 13-year-old boy, his 36-year-old father, and his 73-year-old grandmother were killed. The 31-year-old mother of the deceased boy, his 10-year-old brother, and his 13-year-old sister were also injured.
It is noted that prosecutors, in coordination with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the enemy attack.
Under the procedural guidance of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of war crimes resulting in the loss of life (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of June 17, russian troops attacked the city of Trostianets in the Sumy Region. The strike was massive, and significant destruction was recorded.
It was also reported that in the Sumy Region, a drone belonging to the aggressor country, the russian federation, attacked the grounds of an equestrian sports school. The strike on the stables killed horses; according to preliminary data, no employees of the facility were injured.
