Commissioner for Human Rights of Rada, Lubinets, names number of Ukrainians who left abroad due to war

Due to the full-scale armed aggression of russia, 5.7 million citizens were forced to leave Ukraine abroad.

Such data was published by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Dmytro Lubinets.

According to him, forced displacement has become a reality for millions of Ukrainians, whose lives have been divided into "before" and "after" the war. Lubinets noted that behind each number are separated families, thousands of kilometers between relatives, and daily uncertainty about the future.

"According to UNHCR, more than 5.7 million Ukrainians were forced to leave the country due to armed aggression against Ukraine," the report said.
