Ukraine opens access to russian weapons technologies for partners - Fedorov
Ukraine is launching the TrophyLab platform, which provides open access to russian weapons technologies for international partners. Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Fedorov noted that each unit of russian equipment captured on the battlefield is not just a trophy, it is knowledge about how the enemy's weapons work.
According to him, since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Ukrainian military, scientific institutions and research centers have been studying captured equipment, analyzing components, technological solutions and weaknesses in order to more quickly create effective countermeasures.
"Now this knowledge is being opened to those who are working to strengthen defense. The Ministry of Defense is launching the TrophyLab platform - a space that provides verified users with access to information about modern russian weapons... We are convinced: knowledge about the enemy's technologies should not remain closed. They should work for those who create defense," he said.
Fedorov noted that now companies, research centers and governments of partner countries will be able to study russian missiles and other weapons in detail, which will help to find effective solutions to counter the enemy more quickly and strengthen joint efforts for Ukraine's victory.
The platform opens access to the results of research on captured equipment for:
Ukrainian defense technology manufacturers;
military units;
scientific institutions;
international partners assisting Ukraine.
Users gain access to technical documentation, research results and analytics on modern russian weapons. In addition, the platform allows you to submit a request for physical examination of captured samples. Several formats for working with samples are provided: from research without damage to tests involving complete disassembly or destruction of the product.
Fedorov noted that this opportunity will allow engineers to test their own solutions on real enemy equipment and significantly reduce the cycle of creating countermeasure technologies.
"Russia is using its entire arsenal against Ukraine. We are not just deterring strikes - we are dismantling this weapon down to the last detail. What was supposed to be their secret advantage is turning into open information for those who defend democracy. The more russia uses its weapons, the more the world will learn how to stop it," the minister noted.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Fedorov previously reported that Ukraine is creating its own ballistic missile for strikes against russia.
