Russia strikes Balakliya in Kharkiv Region with drones, children among victims
On the night of June 16, russian troops attacked the city of Balakliya in the Kharkiv Region with drones. As a result of the enemy shelling, eight local residents were injured, including two children - a 4-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, on his Telegram channel.
"At night, the enemy attacked the city of Balakliya with drones. As a result of the shelling, 8 people were injured, including a 4-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy," the head of the Regional Military Administration noted.
Strikes were made on the civilian infrastructure of the city. Four private residential buildings, a basement, a garage, outbuildings and cars caught fire due to drone strikes.
All emergency services continue to work at the scene, extinguishing fires, clearing rubble and providing necessary assistance to affected citizens.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, russian terrorist forces hit a zoo in Kharkiv, resulting in injuries to animals.
