Since start of day, aggressors have launched 61 assaults on positions of Ukrainian Defense Forces - AFU General Staff's operational update
Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine continues.
The enemy carried out 61 offensive operations. The occupiers continue to use aircraft and artillery against border regions of Ukraine.
This is stated in the daily operational report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, posted on the military department’s official Facebook page.
Today, the settlements of Sopych, Rohizne, Koreniok, Neskuchne, Malushyne, Volfyne, Bachivsk, Ryzhivka, Buniakyne, and Holubivka in the Sumy Region, as well as Tymonovychi in the Chernihiv Region, came under fire from the occupiers. In addition, Pavlivka in the Sumy Region was subjected to airstrikes.
On the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, one combat clash has taken place since the start of the day. The invaders carried out three airstrikes using nine guided bombs and conducted 24 shelling attacks, including four using multiple launch rocket systems.
On the Southern Slobozhanshchyna axis, the enemy attacked our troops’ positions three times; one combat clash is still ongoing. Fighting took place in the areas of Vovchansk and Lyman.
On the Kupiansk axis, our defenders repelled one enemy attempt to advance toward Novoplatonivka.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attempted to breach our defenses six times; two clashes are currently ongoing. Assault operations were recorded in the areas of the settlements of Novyi Mir, Drobysheve, Lyman, Dibrova, Torske, and Ozerne.
On the Sloviansk axis, the enemy stormed the positions of the Defense Forces four times in the areas of Kryva Luka and Zakitne.
On the Kramatorsk axis, no enemy offensive actions were recorded.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, the occupiers carried out four attacks, one of which is still ongoing. The enemy was active near the settlements of Ivanopillia, Illinivka, and Kostiantynivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, our defenders repelled 15 assaults by the aggressor. The invaders attacked in the areas of the settlements of Vasylivka, Hryshyne, Rodynske, Shevchenko, Novopidhorodnie, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Novopavlivka.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the enemy launched a single attack near Vorone.
On the Huliaipole axis, the occupiers carried out 21 attacks; five firefights are currently ongoing. The enemy pressed forward in the areas of the settlements of Rybne, Dobropillia, Vozdvyzhivka, Olenokostiantynivka, Huliaipilske, Ternuvate, Zaliznychne, Verkhnia Tersa, and Charivne.
On the Orikhiv axis, our defenders repelled two enemy attempts to advance in the areas of the settlements of Stepove and Stepnohirsk.
On the Dnipro axis, one enemy attack was recorded in the direction of the Antonivskyi Bridge.
On the Volyn and Polissia axes, no signs of enemy offensive groupings were detected.
