The Ukrainian Armed Forces ambushed a convoy of military transport vehicles belonging to the aggressor country, russia, near Armiansk in the north of the occupied Crimea. The convoy consisted of about 50 vehicles, some of which were destroyed.

Dmytro Filatov, the commander of the 1st Separate Assault Regiment named after Dmytro Kotsiubailo, made this statement on the "Suspilne Studio" program on Thursday, June 11.

Filatov explained that recent strikes by Ukrainian forces on the Chonhar Bridge in the Kherson Region resulted in critical damage to the structure. Currently, both passenger and freight traffic is prohibited on the bridge.

Following the incident with the Chonhar Bridge, the occupiers changed their logistics routes and began sending trucks and other vehicles through Armiansk in the northern Crimea.

"Today, this traffic was completely halted. We carried out one operation <...> Because the Chonhar Bridge was damaged, the enemy concentrated a large number of trucks that were moving specifically through Armiansk <...> We managed to hit the trucks carrying fuel and ammunition. There were about 50 vehicles, and some of them were destroyed," Filatov said.

He noted that such actions have a long-term effect. Currently, the occupiers cannot ensure normal logistics for their units. And in the future, they will have to spend additional resources on restoration. In addition, russian commanders on the front lines are more concerned with supply issues and how to resolve them.

As the Ukrainian News agency previously reported, earlier today, June 11, the head of the occupation administration of the Kherson Region, Volodymyr Saldo, stated that during the night, Ukrainian forces attacked four road bridges across the North Crimean Canal at once.

As a reminder, on June 9, the commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert “Madyar” Brovdi stated that the russians had banned the movement of military trucks through the so-called "land corridor" to Crimea after several weeks of intense strikes by Ukrainian drones.
