President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has established June 11 as the annual Day of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is stated in Decree No. 485 of June 10, according to the Ukrainian News agency.

"Taking into account the role of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the struggle for Ukraine’s freedom, independence, and territorial integrity, and with the aim of establishing new military traditions, I hereby decree: to establish in Ukraine the Day of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to be celebrated annually on June 11," the document states.

The decree takes effect on the day of its publication.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in June 2025, the Armed Forces of Ukraine established the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) group, which united all USF military units and the Drone Lines. Zelenskyy appointed Robert Brovdi (“Madyar”) as the commander of the USF.
