The Verkhovna Rada has increased the salaries of employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) by 10%.

248 MPs voted for the relevant amendment No. 365 to the bill on amendments to the state budget for 2026 No. 15224, with the minimum required 226, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

This amendment by MP Roksolana Pidlasa (Servant of the People faction) allows NABU to apply the subsistence minimum for able-bodied persons, established for 2026 in the amount of UAH 3,328, instead of UAH 3,028 established for 2025, when calculating the salaries of employees.

Thus, the Verkhovna Rada established that the effect of the relevant restriction (calculating employee salaries under the conditions established in 2025) of the law on the state budget for 2026 does not apply to NABU employees.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Verkhovna Rada made amendments to the state budget for 2026, in particular, it increased spending on security and defense by UAH 1.56 trillion.
