Russian drone damaged Nova Poshta depot in Kharkiv, where parcels worth UAH 1 million were stored
On the night of June 8, Depot No. 5 of Nova Poshta was damaged as a result of shelling in Kharkiv. It was reported by the company's press service.
"An enemy UAV struck the roof of our depot, causing a fire and partial structural collapse. No employees were injured, as the depot was not operational at the time of the attack," the statement said.
Currently, State Emergency Service rescuers and other emergency services are working at the site. Due to roof damage, heavy smoke, and the risk of collapse, access to the warehouse remains limited.
According to preliminary information, there were 363 shipments with a total value of approximately UAH 1 million in the building at the time of the strike. Information regarding their condition is currently being verified.
"Nova Poshta will compensate customers for the declared value of the damaged shipments and will provide details on the reimbursement. Despite yet another attack on the logistics infrastructure, Nova Poshta continues to operate. The company has backup logistics plans and pre-prepared business continuity scenarios," the company said.
Customers can track up-to-date information on their shipments via the mobile app and on the website.
As a reminder, Nova Poshta previously confirmed a second russian attack on the innovative terminal in Dnipro.
