Defense Forces hit oil depots in Crimea, FSB control center and other russian military facilities - General Staff
On the night of Sunday, June 7, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the Semikolodezanskaya oil depot near the village of Lenine in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. The attack caused a fire on the facility’s grounds. It was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, the Semikolodezyanskaya oil depot is one of the largest centers for the storage and transshipment of petroleum products in the eastern part of the Crimean Peninsula. The facility is used to stockpile fuel and meet the needs of the russian military contingent.
Ukrainian troops also struck an oil depot in the area of Feodosia in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea.
The military stated that the Feodosia oil depot is the largest oil transshipment complex in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The facility’s capacity allows for the transshipment of up to 10–12 million tons of petroleum products per year. Its infrastructure facilitates the receipt, storage, and distribution of petroleum products to meet the needs of the aggressor state’s military units.
In addition, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a command post of the russian federation’s FSB in the area of Volokonovka in the Belgorod Oblast and hit an enemy ammunition depot in the area of Svobodne in the Donetsk Region.
Among other things, strikes were carried out on areas where occupation forces were concentrated in the area of Shchastia in the Luhansk Region and the Blahodatne area in the Donetsk Region.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on May 28 and during the night of May 29, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of key russian occupier targets, including the Volgograd oil refinery, the Yaroslavl-3 oil pumping station, a Tor-M2 air defense system, a military transport vehicle depot, and UAV command posts.
