Zelenskyy announces his arrival in UK for talks with European leaders

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in the UK, where he is scheduled to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. This was stated in a message on the head of state's Facebook page on Sunday, June 7.

Zelenskyy noted that bilateral talks with Prime Minister Starmer will first be held in Britain, and then a meeting in the E3 plus Ukraine format with French President Macron, German Chancellor Merz and the British Prime Minister. According to him, it is necessary to discuss and agree on what the teams have prepared.

"The main thing is our defense in war, more cooperation for the security of all of Europe in the direction of air defense, and our common view of diplomatic prospects: Europe must be in negotiations and must be strong. A meeting with His Majesty King Charles III is also scheduled for tomorrow," the President of Ukraine said.
