Russians hit locomotive with drone in Kharkiv Region, railway worker injured

On Tuesday, June 2, the russians attacked a locomotive in the Kharkiv Region with a drone, as a result of which a railway worker was injured.

It was announced by Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"The enemy struck a locomotive with a UAV in the Kharkiv Region. As a result of the strike, a railway worker was injured, necessary assistance is being provided," the report says.

It is noted that emergency medical services and units of the State Emergency Service were promptly called to the scene, and railway workers worked in cooperation with emergency services.

Meanwhile, train traffic in the Kharkiv Region continued with minimal delays. The company added that monitoring groups are intensively monitoring the security situation in the region.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, russian troops attacked Kharkiv with drones and missiles at night, and there were hits in various areas of the city. As of the morning, 10 victims were known, including an 11-year-old girl.

Meanwhile, the death toll from the russian terrorist attack on Dnipro on the night of June 2 has risen to 16. The bodies of two women and an 8-year-old boy were recovered from the rubble of a building.
