The international company in the field of food and agrotechnology MHP announces the signing of an agreement to acquire a stake in the Greek company Th. Nitsiakos AVEE.

This is announced in the company's statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The statement says that the agreement provides for a long-term partnership of the parties and the phased acquisition of 70% of the company by MHP over several years, and the parties also agreed on the possibility of further increasing MHP's stake to 100% in the future.

The completion of the deal depends on the fulfillment of standard conditions, in particular, obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals.

Th. Nitsiakos AVEE is a vertically integrated group headquartered in the city of Ioannina, founded in the 1970s.

It operates in Greece in the fields of production and distribution of poultry and other types of meat, animal feed and pet food.

According to the results of 2025, the company's revenue amounted to about EUR 540 million.

The agreement with Th. Nitsiakos AVEE is another step in the development of MHP's international business, which helps the group maintain stability and steadily invest in the development of the company in Ukraine.

It is noted that during the years of full-scale war, MHP opened a new enterprise in Ukraine for the production of value-added products in Dnipro, acquired Myasnyi Hutir company for its further development, and also began the development of biomethane production.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in mid-May, MHP opened a pet food plant in Croatia.

MHP is one of the largest producers of grain, compound feed, oil and milk in Ukraine, which includes 11 crop enterprises, 3 compound feed production plants, 17 grain storage elevators and 28 livestock farms, where about 25 thousand heads of cattle are kept. MHP's land bank is 360,000 hectares in 12 regions of Ukraine.

MHP develops more than 15 food brands in various formats - from chilled and marinated meat to ready-made meals and snacks.
